Personally I think it looks awesome. Better then the last two gens to say the least. I really want the grass starter. >v< It's adorable. Anyone else planning to get it?

I already have it. Well, on my emulator, at least. And yes, it is very awesome. Tsutarja (the grass starter) definitely has the best design, in my opinion. Not only does it stay adorable through all its evolutions, its Dream World ability makes it hands down the best starter of this gen =w=
Actually, grass types for this gen are all pretty cool. I find Virizion awesome for some reason, and Doredia is so pretty~ <3

Tsutarja? What? I can't even pronounce that. I'm naming mine smugleaf. =u= But no, Tsutarja is probably my favorite grass type simply because of it's design. I also like it's evolutions. The entire line was well made. Unlike well... wotter as I know the water otter as. That thing's first evo is freaking ugly. I like how the pokemon team went all "oh lol. We better bring back firetypes again". Thank God. I love firetypes and was so bummed last gen. The fire Monkey thing you can get if you choose the right starter looks really cool. I want it so much....

-nods- I thought Wotter was really ugly when I first saw it, too. It looks like... a clown :T Sure, that works for the anime personality they gave it, but still... clown. But yeah, the fire monkey is really cool. Ironically, you need to choose Wotter to get it, though XD;;

If it had a little kitty cat nose it would be adorable. As is, the big orange nose from hell has made wotter the ugliest starter following mudkip. :( At least Wotter's last evo looks cool. I know. Dx I'm gonna end up with the water one which looks creepy/gay as hell in my opinion (kinda like Antonio but way less hot). I'm planning on trading it on the GTS or whatever. Hey you mentioned dream world earlier. How does that work? And what's the ability Tsutarja can get form it?

The nosseeeee. If only it had a better nose...
Hmm... the Dream World is like this website where you can send your pokemon online to get items and befriend other pokemon to send back to your game. If you befriend a Smugleaf, it'll have the ability Antagonist, which makes moves that lower your stats when used instead raise them.
For example: a Smugleaf using Leaf Storm would normally have their special attack drop two stages. A Smugleaf with Antagonist using Leaf Storm would have their special attack raised two stages. It's pretty awesome.

Also, the legendaries do not impress me this generation. Really they haven't been great since the second generation. There are too many, many look bizarre and they're OP'd. I wish normal pokemon stood more of a chance and got more attention.

For the past three gens, they just spammed legendaries at us. I mean, plot's all well and good, but what happened to the old days of collect gym badges, beat up Team Rocket, become Champion? I personally liked it better when legendaries were side quests. And also when there were less of them. After the required trio, maybe two mascots, and the cute event legendary, the rest seem sort of... extra.
Though there are a few legends I like this generation. The three musketeers one, just because I like the concept. Virizion's design is the only one I like though, because it's sorta sleek. Oh, and Kerudio, because musketeer pony is cute.

All the ice types in this gen made me spazz. And I think I saw a dragon that at the last evolution still is pure dragon? Win, win, win if I read it correctly. But yeah like wtf is with there being about as many legendary as there are fully evolved Pokemon with the gens past generation 2? I saw the three musketeers and I only really liked the one that was leaf type. The fourth one was cute but idk. The ice/dragon legend looks spaztastic.

The ice/dragon one, oh my god asdfghjkl; And the ice types this gen made spazz, too. Except the ice cream one. That one just made me sorta laugh, ahaha. And yessss, the pure dragon one is so freaking awesome I have no words. Plus it has an axe. on. its. head. I still need to evolve the one I named 'Spain' =w=

The ice cream one is somewhere between awesome and disturbing. And yes I love how it's head is a fucking axe. Best dragon ever. I'm naming mine fluffy. Is the one named Spain a girl? -always names my females after characters-

The trash bag one is pretty disturbing, too. -nods-
XD Nah, it's a guy. I name my pokemon after characters/awesome things when I can think of them. And fluffy reminds me of my sister's Togetic named 'VENGEANCE'. I think my favorite was my Pikachu in Yellow named 'Piquechu' after the defender on La Roja =w='''

So was the gulpin thing from 3rd gen. Actually there are a lot of disturbing pokemon in general. But the numbers increase dramatically gen3 and up. I have a ditto named pimp, a fire monkey starter thing named goku and a charzard named beer among other things.
